Fiena is a family-run cafe, bar and restaurant on Judd Street, a few minutes' walk from King's Cross and St Pancras International, the British Library and Russell Square. Mornings start with proper coffee and breakfast served until 2pm, then from midday the full Italian menu runs all day: antipasti, fresh pasta and risotto, pizza, grills and fish, with tiramisù and gelato to finish. The bar pours spritzes, Negronis, Italian wine and beer from 10:30 through to close.The room is intentionally relaxed, equal parts neighbourhood cafe and family dining table, with outdoor seating where well-behaved dogs are welcome. We cook in house, source carefully and keep things unfussy.Tables for up to 8 can be booked online, walk-ins are welcome, and the whole restaurant or sections of it can be hired for birthdays, drinks parties and corporate evenings. NHS staff and students get 10% off, every day.

Das Restaurant wird von Stammgästen aus der Umgebung mit ihren Hunden frequentiert. Für Hunde stehen Wasser und Hundekuchen bereit. Hunde sind herzlich willkommen. Eine der Spezialitäten ist das ganze Spanferkel mit allem Drum und Dran (Butterkarotten und Gemüse, Bratkartoffeln, Sauce und Apfelmus).

The Pig and Butcher occupies a handsome pub built in the mid 1800’s when Islington was a village outside London. The area around the pub used to be fields used by farmers to rest and feed their livestock before being sent to Smithfield’s Meat Market for sale. We take our inspiration from farmhouse tables across Europe. We use the best farms and suppliers in the country and present a weekly changing menu that reflects the most seasonal produce the country has to offer. We have an in house team that hand pick and deliver our fruit and vegetables each morning from New Spitalfields Market. We butcher all of our meat on site daily in our specially built butchers room downstairs. Our team have worked hard on curating a wine list that changes regularly. Our wine selection features some of the best wines from family-owned vineyards and larger winemakers from across the world that we have used since the mid nineties. We also offer a selection of beers.
