I attended Peter Pratt’s Inn for the first time as part of the wine experience series and was completely blown away. The true star of the evening was Jeffrey Donaldson, whose knowledge, passion, and storytelling elevated every moment. He expertly guided us through the history of Peter Pratt’s Inn, the surrounding region, and each wine selection, drawing on his extensive travels and experience as a sommelier to bring every glass to life. The evening was thoughtfully curated from start to finish. Each dish was perfectly paired with the wines, creating a wonderful balance of flavors, textures, and aromas. The owner and chef joined us throughout the evening, adding a personal touch that made the experience feel intimate and special. The ambiance was equally memorable. Surrounded by the rich history of this beautifully preserved 18th-century property, there was something to admire at every turn. Adding to the magic was the warm, engaging company of people who shared a genuine appreciation for great food, wine, conversation, and travel. I brought my husband, who is typically more reserved and less adventurous than I am, and even he was completely captivated. He thoroughly enjoyed the wine, food, conversations, and company. We will absolutely continue attending these dinner series events and will certainly return to Peter Pratt’s Inn. It is truly one of Westchester’s hidden gems.

This was our first visit to Bistro 146, but it will not be our last. Our food was delicious on steroids. Every bite was a treat in both texture and flavor. The obsession Marcel has for the quality of his ingredients as well as the preparation and presentation of his offerings was obvious. Since we were there on a Tuesday evening and there were not a lot of patrons, we had the chance to chat with Marcel which added greatly to our experience. This is a man who takes pride in what he does and deservedly so. Do yourself a favor and check out this fine eatery!

I had the Salmon and it was delicious! Everyone in our party was very happy with what they had.

We decided to focus on the appetizers. Except for the french fries, everything was very good. Calamari, asparagus and tartares are exceptional. Downstairs dining room is lovely.
