A nice spot in Tally Ho shops - unassuming from the outside but instantly recognisable inside with its wood panelling, vaulted ceiling and tasteful lighting. The mezzanine in particular captures the open feeling. Consider parking in the streets behind the restaurant as the parking out front may fill quickly. Food is done in proper Italian style, and the pasta does not disappoint. Dietary options are not entirely clear in menus, but the staff were able to assist. Staff are well-trained and provide excellent service, checking in at the right time and keeping any dietary requirements in mind. The restaurant was well-patroned on a Friday evening, with the unfortunate side effect that it became somewhat difficult to hear conversations as the evening progressed. Overall a worthwhile place for a good Italian dinner, suitable for couples and small groups.

The team at Waterslide was super fun, accommodating, polite and attentive. They made our first experience there an absolute blast, we could just sit back and relax knowing we were totally taken care of. Telling everyone about it, can't wait to go again next time I'm in Melbourne.

The bistro was very quiet in regards to customers, but a lot of noise was carrying from the bar. This did thin out and quieten. Couldn't fault the food or the service.

Beautiful venue, lift broken so lots of industrial steps. Great host, ongoing bubbles, savoury food divine, sweet food good but some small lemon tarts might have added balance to the very sweet sweets. A lovely birthday high tea adventure.
