Our dough is made fresh daily and proved slowly, meaning we're able to use minimal quantities of yeast and our pizzas are light. Wir hatten einen wunderbar entspannten Abend im Macellaio! Vorspeisen, die in Deutschland nicht so üblich sind, Fleischgerichte, die ich so auf keiner Speisekarte zuvor gesehen habe, Understatement statt Aufschneiderei. Die Weinkarte ist eher für Rotweinliebhaber, was natürlich zum Fleisch gut passt, doch auch wir Weißweinfans sind zufriedengestellt worden. Der Service war außerordentlich freundlich und persönlich und obwohl wir für Desserts viel zu satt waren, wurde uns noch ein Stück Schokokuchen spendiert. Über die Preise wollen wir nicht meckern, wir wussten vorher, dass wir nicht bei McD landen. Das tolle Fleisch im Tresen beim Reinkommen ist ein Hingucker. Wir waren überrascht, dass mehrere wohl den Liefer- bzw. Abholservice genutzt haben. Wir sind eindeutig für den Genuss vor Ort. Beim nächsten London-Besuch kommt das Macellaio wieder auf die Liste!
