We could not really fault anything. The service was good, the food was plentiful. Our party had a good time. Only downside to our trip was that 4 of our party of 8 ate from the set menu but we were charged full price for each course. Our fault for not checking the bill, but in the height of the moment this was overlooked. Lesson learned!!

Excellent service. Manager was brilliant at handling allergy requirements. Very friendly, and very quick service, especially for our table of 12.

Delicious Japanese Food, expertly prepared by the chef accompanied with a brief explanation of the ingredients and the cut of fish or meat used in the dish. There was plenty and variety of things to eat, all just a mouthful but all added up to a full meal, we were not hungry when we left. The dining is one long table, there was only 8 guests so very nice and intimate plus we got to chat to the other dinners which made for a lovely evening.

The range of dishes on offer is limited, but interesting and of good quality. The focused range of wines on offer was interesting and gratifying to see some good English wines being offered. The service was attentive, friendly and not overbearing. I will definitely return when I'm next in UK
