Mon Ami Brasserie was excellent from start to finish. We shared the charcuterie board and it was outstanding — great selection of meats, lovely cheeses, and genuinely incredible olives. Both of us had the rib‑eye steaks with added prawns, cooked perfectly and full of flavour. Finished with a crème brûlée that was absolutely divine. Service was excellent, the ambience was warm and relaxed, and the music was spot‑on at a comfortable volume. It was busy, but there were no delays at all with food arriving. A little on the pricey side, but the quality fully justified it — you really do get what you pay for.

How fantastic to be able to eat such fantastic food in a relaxed atmosphere. No suprise that the Sportsman has consistently great reviews. The service was perfect too - none of that annoying checking back to see if everything is ok (they know the food is fabulous) - the staff don't miss a beat! We went for my daughter's 30th but won't be waiting for a special occasion to visit again! Also, the best oysters we have ever had - and we have tried a lot!! Thank you The Sportsman.

We had an excellent Sunday roast with very efficient waitress service.

We visited The Bridge Arms for a birthday lunch and had a fantastic experience from start to finish. They had even arranged with my sister-in-law for glasses of champagne to be waiting on the table as a birthday gift all the way from Australia, which was such a lovely touch. The food was brilliant. We loved the selection of snacks to start, and the scallops and prawns were particular standouts. The skate wing was also exceptional. Service was spot on throughout. Attentive and friendly without ever being overly fussy, which made the whole lunch feel really relaxed and special. Would highly recommend The Bridge Arms. It’s absolutely somewhere we’d happily travel to eat at again.
