The food and service were excellent. Drago's isn't upscale at all. Menus were single sheet sealed in plastic, limited selection compared to online offerings and little things like no bread offered at the table??

The wedge salad had thick slabs of bacon, tangy tomatoes and pungent chunks of blue cheese. We shared a steak and salmon, cooked medium, moist and mouth-watering. Southern pecan pie casserole capped off my birthday dinner and Dallas-to-Destin road trip.

Dinner with friends from the past that required lots of visiting during cocktails, dinner, and afterwards. we never felt rushed. The meal was excellent. i had the scallops and they were obviously fresh and correctly cooked.

My wife and I started with cocktails in the Library Bar in this beautiful old mansion. Great drinks and service. The dining room was quiet and open. The antelope and redfish were excellently prepared and presented. We would definitely go there again.
