A rural public house serving local beers, Berkshire gin and ciders, as well as a great wine selection. Bar snacks and full meals available 7 days a week. Cooking over a central grill makes for great theatrical cooking from our open-plan kitchen, overseen by Head Chef Nick Galer. Whilst a subtle Basque feel will permeate throughout, its roots are firmly founded on those of a classic English pub – so while featuring top end Basque dishes fit for a destination dinner, it also offers simple pub snacks for a light lunch… while the food may be inspired by the Basque country, the ingredients are local… and while the wines may be sourced from Iberia, the beer is very much English.The crowning glory is the sensational open kitchen, with a huge, CHARCOAL FIRED parilla grill and a BRICK OVEN as its centrepiece and all in front of the guests – very visual and very theatrical. The whole customer service from arrival to departure was excellent - especially Iuri, he was fabulous. The food selection was fantastic and tasted delicious. Plus the setting is so special by the Thames

We were looking for a nice anniversary supper and came across Oxtwo on a website. Had a quick look at the menu and we were quite intrigued. Not the usual run of the mill. This turned out to be one of our best meals out in ages. Great ambience - lovely staff who all knew their stuff from the wine to the food to the beers. Great chicken wings, chicken liver brûlée, chips, chicken salad etc… The IPA was brilliant and the other half loved the house white. All in all a great night out with lovely staff. We will be telling everyone about it.
