Behind the velvet curtains, the street outside is quickly forgotten.Bistro Aix has been cooking classical French food in the heart of Crouch End since 2002. It is chef-owned and quietly romantic, with velvet drapes, plenty of greenery and large Renaissance-style murals around softly lit tables.The menu changes with the seasons and is built on good produce: organic vegetables, wild fish, game and well-kept steaks, finished with the proper French sauces the kitchen is known for.We’re a short walk from the Crouch End Clocktower, and our private dining room seats up to 26, for birthdays, celebrations or a smaller gathering.
