Our vibrant 36-seat dining room offers a plant-forward approach to Italian cuisine, with handmade pasta at the heart of the menu.We celebrate classics with creative takes on Focaccia, Truffle Spagettoni, Wild Mushroom Risotto, Burrata with blood orange and Fennel, Squash Agnolotti. Plant-based highlights include Lions Mane Steak, Rigatoni Bolognese, Cashew Brie, Meatballs in Sugo, Baby Gem Salad with almond vinaigrette, Fried Artichokes, and Olive Oil Cake.Reservations are recommended. We offer two-hour dining periods with seatings starting at 5pm till 945. Maximum party size is six on Fridays and Saturdays. Join us for brunch Sunday from 11:30am–2:30pm. Reservations are held 15 mins past scheduled seating time. If arriving late, we may not be able to extend your seating time if there are reservations scheduled after your allotted timeframe. Avelo Restaurant is located in a heritage townhouse on a quiet street in Yorkville and serves some of the city's finest plant-based cuisine. Our aim is to deliver an extraordinary and immersive dining experience where the servers guide guests through an exploration of many small plates highlighting seasonal ingredients while offering insight into each dish. We also offer an optional wine pairing and are able to accommodate many dietary restrictions with advance notice.Avelo hosts two dinner seatings per evening where guests choose between the 5-course or the 8-course* tasting menu. Fat Pasha is chef Anthony Rose’s big, generous take on Mediterranean cooking, influenced by the Jewish food he grew up eating from his mother and bubbie. Opened in Toronto’s Annex in 2014, it’s built around bold flavours, vegetables, grilled meats, hummus, salatim, tahini, pickles and food made to share — including the whole roasted cauliflower that’s been there since day one.Fat Pasha earned a MICHELIN Bib Gourmand in 2022 and 2023. Rose spent years cooking in influential kitchens for Jonathan Waxman, Jean-Georges Vongerichten and Bradley Ogden before returning to Toronto and becoming Executive Chef of The Drake Hotel. He later opened Rose and Sons, Big Crow, Schmaltz Appetizing and Fat Pasha. Rose and Sons also cooked a special brunch at the James Beard House in New York with Bonnie Stern.More than a decade later, Fat Pasha is still what it was meant to be: loud, warm, casual and a little chaotic. Come with people you like, order too much food, put it in the middle and dig in.

    The food was absolutely amazing. I loved how the young female chef described each dish. I hope to join an event dinner again here. Timing was a little off between courses and water could have been filled a bit more frequently, but we still thoroughly enjoyed our night. The servers were pleasant, the food was amazing. Overall it was an exceptional evening.
