Enoteca Sociale is built on passion.
Passion for sharing a culture we fell in love with through the food we eat and the experiences we share. Opened in 2010, Enoteca Sociale has become a mainstay for Italian Cuisine in the Toronto, built on the philosophy of making simple & honest Roman cuisine that can be shared with friends and family.

Through the years, Enoteca Sociale has evolved to offer a wider food offering comprised of traditional Roman dishes like Cacio e Pepe, l’Amatriciana and Carbonara. With Chef Kyle Rindinella at the helm the menu takes inspiration directly from Rome, remaining as true to the traditional culinary practices as possible. The Italian-focused wine list includes varietals that are rarely available elsewhere in Ontario and represent the entire country of Italy.

A seven-course meal, starting with Aperetivo Snacks and ending with a Dolce made only for our tasting menus. In between, our Chef will be serving five pasta courses, highlighting not only Roman pasta, but shapes, flavours and dishes from all over Italy. The only dietary restriction we are currently available to accommodate in this tasting menu is no seafood.

großartiger Service, charmant und professionell, mit sehr guter Beratung; sehr gutes Essen (Bucatini all'Amatriciana! 😋) und total gemütliches Lokal! Alles war perfekt. Würde ich in Toronto leben, wäre das mein Stammlokal

Service was great! loved that the server explained all the dishes to us. We found the pastas ranged from great to just not the right mix of sauce and pasta choice, particularly the mushroom one, and our ragu turned out really salty.

Artichokes outstanding. Bread mouthwatering. Arancini delicious tasty. Cacio e Pepe fabulous. Steak unbelievably packed with flavour. Mikey the waiter was kind genuine and professional. Francesco was sweet and funny. Great service overall. Ambiance was warm.

Every pasta is to die for and the kitchen is always working efficiently. I sat at the chefs table which could see the entire kitchen staff working seeing the artist perform was amazing. Not only that we were reserved a tasting but my girlfriend doesn’t like seafood and I was scared after she was too. The restaurant changed our menu to El Carte was amazing it’s like getting your own portion sizes and you can order like any other restaurant. We got the most two popular dishes at the menu and both were to die for one was homemade Alfredo pasta that was so to die for even thinking about it now makes me want more. Perfect seasoning noodles el dente and the sauce was amazing. Everything on the plate was gone by the time I was done. We finished with stick toffee pudding which was sweet desert but not too sweet that topped off the night perfectly. Every person who talked to us also wished my girlfriend a happy birthday. Amazing time and we will be back hopefully.

The variety and quality of the food was outstanding. The agnolotti was not quite as delicate as the last time, but still very good. The wine was excellent. The chocolate panna cotta with olive oil and sea salt was to die for. The waiter was a bit obnoxious with his explanations and opinions - we've had beet er service with other waitstaff previously (very friendly!).

Exceptionally good food, I’d like to come back again. Recommended for a nice couples date.
