Wow! Everything about this restaurant is amazing! From the host, bartenders, and to the chef! Management checked on us as well. Food was amazing!

Last night, my husband and I finally got to enjoy Bloom Southern Kitchen. Colleen was very personable and gave us feedback on great dishes. We started with the Nashville Deviled Eggs, because we still had nine minutes of Happy Hour, so we decided to take advantage of it. They were ok. For dinner, I had the cornmeal catfish and cornbread. I felt there was a little too much batter to fish ratio but it was still good. The red beans, rice, and corn complimented the dish. I really liked the hot honey and cinnamon butter that accompanied the cornbread skillet. My husband had the jambalaya and he said it’s one of the best he’s ever had. When I saw Sweet Home Alabama as a drink I had to try it; one of my favorite movies is Sweet Home Alabama. To end our meal on a sweet note, we had the peach cobbler and it was ridonculous!!!! Pine Street Grill feels instantly at home on this corner of Fitler Square, the kind of polished, easygoing neighborhood restaurant that seems obvious only after someone finally gets it right. The room is bright and confidently restrained, with a handsome bar and enough space between the tables to let everything breathe. It suits the neighborhood perfectly and feels equally convincing for brunch, dinner, or a drink at the bar. Faith was fantastic and took great care of us from start to finish. We began with the pretzel and macaroni and corn croquettes, then split the fish stick sandwich and burger with excellent fries. Every bite was delicious, and the richness made sharing exactly the right call. The smash burger was outstanding and genuinely one of the best I’ve ever had. Around us, every table was full, and the room remained comfortable and relaxed. The crowd felt local and hip, while the music gave dinner a lively energy at just the right volume; hearing Florence + the Machine was a highlight. The compact menu feels carefully considered, and the prices felt fair for the quality, service, and location. The bar added its own appeal with Guinness, Modelo Especial, and an inviting cocktail list. After dinner, we headed to a movie and agreed that Pine Street Grill had been the perfect beginning to a fantastic date night. I’m already excited to return for brunch and, when the weather cooperates, sit outside facing Fitler Square. Seeing the place full and thriving made me genuinely happy, because this is exactly the kind of thoughtful neighborhood restaurant people will return to again and again.
