Great Food Great Service. We were a party of 3 and had the Chef special dumplings followed by Coral Trout fillets, Salt and Peper Prawns and Duck Pancakes. All great and ate too much.

Our first time dining at Maru Hi-Fi last night and we were extremely impressed by this fantastic restaurant, from the warm welcome, immediate seating, attentive service (without being obtrusive) prompt delivery of food and beverages, absolutely delicious dishes, fabulous music selection and ambience, just a perfect evening all round, a special mention to Henry, a true ambassador for the restaurant, personable, attentive, professional in every aspect of his position, can not speak highly enough of our experience, we shall definitely be back and have already recommended to friends! A friend recommended Urban Restaurant & Wine Bar and we decided to try it for a birthday celebration. The welcome and atmosphere is relaxed, service attentive and food, locally sourced and excellent. We enjoyed a lovely evening which was hard to fault. Think we’ve found a gem!

We love this bar. Of all the cool places in Newcastle, this is our favourite. Great music, excellent drinks and food (definitely get the chacouterie board). The staff are always friendly and good for conversation and suggestions. When we come up from Sydney, a night here is locked in early.
