Rengaya has been serving YAKINIKU in North Sydney since 1993, making it one of Australia’s pioneering Japanese barbeque restaurants. Now, that tradition is set to continue at its new digs on Miller Street – just a short stroll from the original location – in a much more modern, striking setting. The new fit-out features bar-counter seats around an open kitchen, red booth seating divided by Japanese-style timber panelling and a hard-to-miss chandelier.     We return here each year for my daughter's birthday and we love it! The service, food, drinks remain excellent year after year. I was glad I remembered to ask for the dishes to be staggered as they came out. In previous years we were served a little too quickly. We want the night to last.

    We had our wedding at Ecco best decision we ever made. Our anniversary dinner was amazing. Staff is so professional and friendly. Food was amazing as usual and recommendations were spot on by Rob. Ambience was beautiful. Thanks guys for another memorable night.

    We had the tapas - Jamon, Frito de Pan and Stuffed Piquillo Pepper. Both were very good. Next we shared the Fremantle Octopus- tender and tasty. Our “desert” was the Shaved Cabbage Ensalada - outstanding! The Sangria was one of the best I have had, even in Spain. Service was excellent.
