Always consistent with excellent food, excellent service, and a relaxing evening to enjoy it all. It can get noisy when busy, but upstairs is quieter if you can get it. Do not let the outside put you off. Highly recommend for a great night out.

Its my 4th anniversary with my wife, first time doing niku, our server made it such a memorable experience, Roman was one of the best server i have had in my life, so to roman thank you!! And julio was good too! He kept on refilling our water and changing grill. Those 2 servers cared for their customer! Stella was also nice! She was not our server but did help us twice! Will be back! One of the best wagyu and best customer service!

The fish was out-of-the-ocean fresh, the wagyu beef bowl was umami-licious, and the service from the table servers and the chefs was exceptional and thoughtful. Treat yourself. You'll be delighted.

Omg we hosted a surprise birthday dinner for a friend and the entire staff at El Compadre made it so special! They sat us in the biggest booth in the corner, sang Happy Birthday, and helped us with the cake cutting. Highly recommend for a fun, casual birthday celebration!
