Superb experience for our silver wedding anniversary. We were seated where we’d asked and received a card on the table wishing us a happy anniversary and even a free desert selection. Food and wine was exceptional, service was superb and we were surprised the bill was lower than expected!

The best food I have eaten in years. We were staying in the village of Stanhoe, popped in Friday night for adrink and had a fabulous lunch on Saturday and Sunday. Staff, service ambience etc all excellent. Could not have felt more welcome. Nothing more to say other than the Bar could be a little bigger

My friend and I both had the lamb tagine and it was absolutely delicious and I'm fussy! Plenty of meat and a lovely selection of perfectly cooked veg on top. I will definitely recommend to everyone and will be back!
