Die besten Restaurants am Wasser in La Riviera

We were celebrating our 54th wedding anniversary at the Pilothouse Restaurant on the Delta King boat in Old Sacramento. The experience was outstanding! Nigel was an exemplary host/waiter. The food...we had the salmon and the pork tenderloin...was excellent! We had a table overlooking the river and it was beautiful. So, great service, great food, great view...WONDERFUL!

We enjoyed our dinner with a big group of 9. They had a roomy table for us. Learned that Sunday before Memorial Day it is a zoo at the marina. Other than that it is great place on the River for dinner.

Very nice experience. Recommend dining here pre-show at Bob Hope Theater (walking distance) or before/after a movie at Regal Downtown theater.

Being a first timer, didn’t know what to expect. Upon arrival you check into the gate and go up the slight hill to the restaurant. To the left there is a nice camp site with what looks to be great family camping, golf carts, etc. Upon entering, it’s not the fanciest, however there are AMAZING water views! Being empty nesters….we opted for the table near the corner of the bar area and it was a great section for adults to hang and enjoy the great view! Service, our waitress was busy, however she was super sweet and made sure to be attentive to our table which we appreciated. The food we were happy campers…we tried a little bit of everything (Steak & Fries, pizza & Crispy Chicken Salad) however the special (Beef Stroganoff with homemade pasta) was AMAZING and an absolute hit…we literally ordered a second it was so good…that should totally be added to the menu…hint hint! :) If you’re looking for a laid back casual spot with great views and good food with a side of amazing specials that will pleasantly surprise you, this will be your place…we will definitely be back soon!
