Great food, nice outside table, friendly and attentive service, and priced very reasonably. Top tier brisket spicy curry, and the chicken wing starter is amazing.

We love the friendly welcome given by the staff at the River Shack. Table with a beautiful view and the food is tasty and fits the setting. A place to return to!

Had breakfast here on 3 mornings of our stay at the Hotel Indigo. Staff are excellent - well trained and friendly. Breakfast items were good. Cold buffet included fruit, cereals, meats, cheese and yogurts. Toaster was really good - surprisingly for a hotel. Hot food included bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, mushrooms, tomatoes etc. You can ordered poached or fried eggs with the waiting staff. Only slight criticism is the items could have been a bit hotter from the buffet.

Every dish was delicious. Service was lovely and very pleasant atmosphere. Would definitely book again if in the area.

Lovely meal for my husband’s 70th birthday very special. Staff were so lovely. Couldn’t do enough for us. My risotto could have been slightly warmer but I didn’t want to sent it back and it was fine. Tasty. I thought it was good value. Brought us a knife and plates for his cake. We’re very grateful for a tip. Really sweet server. We had a fantastic time! We’d def come again. Very kind to our children too. They’re a handful!
