The service was excellent. We sat on the outdoor Terrance which was warm but we had plenty of ice tea and a major ceiling fan to keep us cool.

If you enjoy afternoon tea, then The Langham Hotel's tea is for you. Everything from the scones to the desserts is excellent. The finger sandwiches are especially good — creative without straying too far from tradition. The servers were very accommodating and kind. My only complaint is that there's a limited selection of teas. I prefer decaf black tea, which they don't have. Luckily, I carry a couple of decaf black tea bags in my purse! However, I will say that the server was very good about bringing me a pot of hot water and filling it up when needed.

My friend and I have dined at Chado Tea Room many times to celebrate our birthdays, and we have never been disappointed. During our recent dining experience, we enjoyed the Celebration Afternoon Tea experience, a selection of tea sandwiches, scones, salad or soup, macarons for dessert, and finished off with fine chocolates. While the service was a bit slower than in the past, the wait was worth it. Everything was fresh and delicious. I plan to dine at Chado Tea Room in the future and highly recommend it.

An absolutely enjoyable experience. There are 4 choices of loose teas, and each one is very, very good. Service is very nice. The selection of delicious treats on the 3 tier tray is exceptional. Tea service includes your choice of a glass of champagne or a glass of lavender lemonade to start. The tiny cup of soup is a welcome addition to traditional tea. Overall, an excellent value, in a very charming, mellow space.

Ambiance and decor of the venue was so nice. The thing that took it to the next level was a harp player. She played live and it gave you a feeling of being transported to another time. Loved it.
