The ambiance is that of being welcomed into a lovely home as we were greeted by the pleasant hostess. His gnocchi appetizer is better than any we had in Italy and I have to order it every time. My husband loves the steak tips. They are so flavorful and you can cut them with a fork. This visit we had the filet with butter poached lobster. The steak was perfectly cooked to order and the lobster was as tender as the steak which shows the skill in the kitchen. The strawberry shortcake and s'mores bread pudding were the perfect way to end an amazing meal. All of these delicious courses were brought to our table by our pleasant waitress, Holly. The flow of the meal was perfect, not rushed and no long delays between courses. The staff as a whole are extremely pleasant, professional and polished. His gnocchi appetizer is better than any we had in Italy and I have to order it every time. My husband loves the steak tips. They are so flavorful and you can cut them with a fork. This visit we had the filet with butter poached lobster. The steak was perfectly cooked to order and the lobster was as tender as the steak which shows the skill in the kitchen. The strawberry shortcake and s'mores bread pudding were the perfect way to end an amazing meal. All of these delicious courses were brought to our table by our pleasant waitress, Holly. The flow of the meal was perfect, not rushed and no long delays between courses. The staff as a whole are extremely pleasant, professional and polished. The took a way from what is normally a great dining experience at Jacmel Inn.\n\nFinally, Jacmel Inn has instituted a $7.70 fee for using a credit card. I was not notified of this charge before I was presented with the bill which came to $250.
