    Third time eating here and once again, and the quality remains as high as ever. The food was excellent with a great menu and additional daily menu items that reflect the season. The portions are very generous so beware if you are ordering starters that you need to have a healthy appetite. The service was great - discreet but timely. Overall, a really lovely experience for my wife's birthday and highly recommended.

    Fantastic lunch in a beautiful setting with exceptional service. Such a gorgeous menu and everything we chose was delicious. We had a great dog-friendly table but would have happily eaten outside on the beautiful terrace if that hadn’t been an option. Looked like every table was comfortable, and there was a great atmosphere throughout the pub. Love the fact that the Sword has employed so many brilliant and attentive staff. It was easy to get service and everyone was smiley, helpful and friendly. Easily my favourite pub in the UK and I have to travel 90 mins to get to it!

    We had a table for 5.30 on Sat so wasn’t expecting it to be busy so we had the place to ourselves. Lovely decor food was great and reasonably priced for two course dinner with drinks , desert & coffee a little over £100 The floor manager Chris looked after us amazingly well and will definitely be heading back soon
