What a great little restaurant in Crete and WORTH the drive. The building is beautiful and has information about the history of Crete throughout the restaurant with labels, very interesting. The restaurant is a combination casual bar/fine dining spaces. But depending upon the day, the fine dining may not have the demand to have its own space. We had smoked prime rib, deviled eggs, brussels sprouts, and a fantastic bottle of Ferrari Carano Cabernet The food was excellent - that prime rib was SOOO good and not “typical small town food”. Crete is a short drive from Lincoln and easy to find. I recommend if you are looking for something a little different. It is important to remember that this is a small town trying to do something interesting and it needs our support. If you communicate your needs with the staff you will enjoy your experience. Highly recommend!!!
