A favorite Southwest Virginia landmark, The Farmhouse Restaurant has served the New River Valley since 1963. The authentic farm house, originally part of the Ridinger Estate, was build in the 1800's. In the early 1970's, an old train caboose was added to provide a unique dining area. During the past decade, a rustic lounge, additional dinner seats, and a spacious 250-seat Banquet Facility have added to the charm of The Farmhouse.

    We enjoyed our lunch at Mozelle’s very much. It was our first time at this restaurant. I was glad that we made reservations because it was very busy. The food was excellent. My husband ordered shrimp and grits and I had the tomato pie. But dishes were very fresh and tasty. The service was great even though it was crowded.

    Second time here to do the tasting and have lunch/dinner. The wine is amazing, and the tasting is a fun experience. The food is phenomenal! I don't think you can have a bad meal. We will definitely be back!!

    Since three of the four in our party have hearing issues, we asked to sit outside. It was perfect. Morgan was attentive and a pleasure to have wait on us. Everyone’s food was delicious. One entree got mixed up, and while he waited , they brought out some homemade potato chips. Many places wouldn’t go to that effort, and it was most appreciated. I had the penne bolognese, which was excellent. We had a roast chicken, apple Gorgonzola salad with salmon, and arancini. Everything was delicious. We’ll be back.
