DANIEL DEL PRADOBorn in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Chef Daniel del Prado is the child of parents of Spanish and southern Italian descent. After moving to the United States in his early 20s, del Prado began his culinary career in Colorado—cooking at night and snowboarding during the day. Upon moving to Minneapolis, he had the opportunity to work in some of the finest kitchens in the Twin Cities. In 2009 del Prado teamed up with his mentor, Isaac Becker, to open Bar La Grassa in the North Loop. When it came time for del Prado to open his own concepts, he burst onto the Twin Cities scene with his premiere Linden Hills restaurant, Martina, and opened the Oaxacan Mexican-influenced Colita just a year after. Chef del Prado has continued to open new and innovative concepts.

    The food exceeded my expectations and my expectations were high because I have been wanting to eat at Owamni and, now, Indígena by Owamni, for years. I am so grateful to Chef Sherman and his team for showing the world a healthier, more sustainable, more dignified way to dine.

    Minute chicken excellent as per usual. I had the oriental chicken lettuce wrap with plumb sauce and it was great. Right amount of food for me !

    Our experience was superb! From walking in to being seated to the our server Marco, who was wonderful! To the management team stopping by to see how we were doing and if we needed anything. The food was incredible!! My husband and I both got filets. I would highly recommend the filet but you can seem to go wrong with their selection. The ambience is one of my favorite parts too. It’s so inviting yet intimate. Truly you should definitely make a plan to visit Baldamar and you will not regret it. Enjoy!
