In 2012, Jayson and team won the Fire on the Docks Competition in Wilmington, NC.CHEF JOSH MACKLIN, Honors graduate of CCCCP, Josh ALSO went to France to study with two-starred Michelin Chef Marc Meurin. Josh joined Floyd’s 1921 as banquet chef. He has worked at Circa 81 as Chef/Restaurant Manager for 10 years. He then joined the Oysters and Pearls group, opening Catch 109 and Executive Chef for Table 9. Josh loves how food brings together families and friends.     We ate out on their deck overlooking the water on a beautiful fall night. It was a pure delight. The food was good, and the service was outstanding. Hope to go back soon. We were able to make reservations which make us very happy. The beach is always busy so it was really, really nice not to have to stand in line.

    I think we inhaled the tuna poke appetizer in about one minute flat. The filet was excellent, and the grouper to accompany was sublime. Of course, my absolute favorite thing each and every time I come is the trio of desserts.

    We had not been in over 6 years since we moved out of state. Our first time back last night, and it was a great as ever. Food was great as always, Phil gave great service, Chris up front was very attentive. Still the best restaurant near the beach. Look forward to our next visit

    We ate at the bar with Ben and food and drinks were delicious! Fred had the grouper special and I had the elk and both were to die for! We even broke our "no sugar" rule and enjoyed every bite of the beignets! There was a large energitic Chamber crowd in Blue Moon last night and we were amazed at the teamwork of your staff! It was almost magical to experience that level of service! Very impressive and I would love to know how many cocktails Ben served last night?
