We had a wonderful experience at SobreMesa! The food was absolutely delicious, and the enchiladas were definitely my favorite. The service was warm, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. The atmosphere is beautiful—stylish, cozy, and perfect for a relaxing dinner. We’ll definitely be back! 10/10

I celebrated my birthday last night with local familiy (8 of us), and had a bunch of dishes, opening with orders of Flautas de Atun Ahumado (rolled tacos with smoked tuna) and Pulpo Sarandeado (charred octopus in adobo sauce) as appetizers. Both dishes were very well prepared, and were delicious. The serving of octopus was a good-sized bit of tentacle, enough to share among three or four of us, and expertly cooked. For our main dishes, one of our party had the Chile Relleno, one had the Arrachera con Tuetano (tacos with skirt steak, grilled nopales, and guacamole, with bone marrow on the side). Most of us split the Enchiladas de Mariscos (seafood enchiladas, and the Costillas de Res al Carbon (slow-grilled beef short ribs: a huge portion with the meat falling off the bone, it was so tender),. We found the service very attentive without being unctuous. The food was marvelous, the portions generous. I'd have a hard time finding any shortcoming, to be honest. We were a large party of 8 diners, and so the bill came with a 20% tip already attached, and a 3% optional add-on to accommodate credit cards. Color me better than entirely satisfied, that's how I'd put it. Would I come back? Absolutely.

All was excellent for our party of three. Steak, scallops and fish. Cooked perfectly. Server was very attentive.

Sat upstairs which is sweet, had the private 4 top with the heart chandelier. Great view, buzzing neighborhood scene with packed farmers market on Friday evening! Margaritas were great and the food was delicious. Second time there and the portions have been very generous. Attentive, friendly staff, and classy ambiance.

I, my wife and another couple went to Scena for the first time to celebrate our mutual 41st wedding anniversaries. We were excited to try this newly openned neighborhood spot and are now thankful for another local "go-to" restaurant. Our server, Leonel, was delightful. We started with cocktails which were perfectly prepared and delicious. The stuffed zuccini blossoms appetizer is fabulous. Perfect crispy exterior with the delicious ricotta stuffing. The delicate marinara sauce went perfectly with them. My wife had the ravioli with pesto sauce. I had Penne with spicy vodka sauce with chicken added. The other gentleman had the braised short rib ravioloi with marinara sauce and the other lady had the lettuce wedge with added chicken. We all delighted in our choices and shared bites confirmed how well each entree was prepared. Finally for dessert, we had the Limoncello cake and the Pistachio Raspberry Ricotta cake. Both were super tasty and not overly filling. We had brought our own wine and found the corkage fee quite reasonable. Both couples are looking forward to our next visit so we can explore other menu items that tempted us.
