Busy night but you wouldn't think so with the very efficient service.food was delicious and overall a pleasant experience.would definitely come back
We love this restaurant and every time we visit Chicago, we eat here, sometimes multiple times! Love the food, the service and the ambiance!
We love Mia Francesca for date night. The food is amazing!
Great spot for any occasion! It can be a bit noisy, but that's because the food is excellent!
The food was good. It was exceedingly noisy. The bar area along with the conversation from the patrons made it very hard to hear one another. Also, the restaurant had background music playing that only added to the raised noise level.
Very friendly staff and high quality food. It was loud but not overbearing. Many patrons were recognized by the staff and it seemed like many people had been there many times. I would definitely go back for another date night.
Normally pretty good but it seems like a get em in and get em out restaurant now. Service was poor at best and food was nothing more than average. Very disappointed and will look elsewhere when downtown next time.
Always good food, always good service. Problem was they jam you in and people, customers, waiters, continuously trying to navigate past me, bumping me every 30 seconds (no exaggeration).
Would not describe the noise level as "energetic" Would describe as too loud
Not what it used to be but still good. Still noisy.
The waitress was not very aligned with the needs of our table.
We came into town from Indy to see the baseball game, needed to find a place to dine and found this gem on yelp, it had fantastic ratings, so we thought we would try it. We made a great decision!!
Our waiter was very friendly went over the menu and gave us suggestions. The pasta we had was delicious.
Good meal. Needed the Happy hour to extend to 6:30 p.m. for people who work and get out of work at 5:30.
Horrible service, you couldn’t even hear yourself thing over the banging of dishes. Food was great, perfectly cooked pasta. Would go back, just not on the day of a cubs game
Great service. Delicious and authentic Italian food. Fun, energetic ambiance. We’ll be back!
We went on a very busy evening with friends. We had reservations, but it took a while to be seated and then to be waited on. Once they realized how long we were waiting for service, they sent over complimentary calamari. I think they lost our order, 2 tables that were seated after us ate and left before we finally said something to our waiter. They finally brought our food and one of the entrees was not cooked through. In the end, we were given Lemoncello and desserts, which we thoroughly enjoyed. I am usually a 5 star for Mia Francesca’s, I know this was an off evening for them. We will definitely go back!!
Always an amazing experience. The food is great and the staff is friendly and efficient.
nice ambiance on the patio and valet parking was convenient. Food was good!
As always, Mia Francesca was terrific. The Burrata and tomato salad was wonderful--the cheese outstanding and the variety of tomatoes very tasty. The calamari appetizer was perfectly cooked and the linguine with shrimp, clams, and scallops, in a spicy tomato sauce was excellent. The menu is always a little different, but everything is always good. The service is attentive but not intrusive or pushy. And, as a favorite of many of the residents in the neighborhood, the crowd is locals, not tourists. Mia Francesca is on our regular restaurant rotation and will remain there.
Great food, great service, great wine! Will definitely be back
Had a lovely post-Cubs game early dinner in the courtyard outdoor seating area. Service and food were excellent as always. We’ll be back!
Mia Francesca's has always been consistently good! I always enjoy eating there. My girlfriend and I usually sit at the bar and eat. Linda the bartender is so nice and accommodating! She is really a delight! I really enjoy the Bruchetta Roma, very tasty! Also the pea pod salad is quite tasty. Any pasta they have is delicious ! The tiramisu is yummy for an ender!!
Excellent server and food. However, they started tearing down tables, moving stuff around at 930 on a holiday weekend evening. Customers still eating. Very inappropriate.
Terrible service, mediocre food and high prices for what you get. I would not recommend.
Great place to stop after a Cubs game! Great food and service! Kid friendly.
Great place for dinner after a Cubs game. The restaurant is loaded with fans, really wonderful people who share your values. We enjoyed the food, ambience, and all the laughs. Our waiter was super.
My pasta was a bit salty but I did ask for spicy and they did accommodate that! Great service—-Jorge was fantastic!!
Always a great experience when we dine here! Our server Linda was awesome! Always a treat dining here when we’re in town.
Great food and Antonella was excellent as our server.
Garden is magical and the food and service is excellent!
The food was good, although quite salty. Family style restaurant.
This location has a patio in back. Pleasant and quieter than inside.
We enjoyed the restraunt. Would go back the next time we are in Chicago.
Visitor to Boys Town. The restaurant was recommended to us. Very nice experience.
We have eaten at restaurant several times before and were surprised by decline in overall quality of food, restaurant and service. Very disappointing
Our meal was amazing and the service was tremendous! I had the prosciutto and arugula pizza which was amazing. We also had some housemade limoncello and it was the best I've had! Thanks all
Good food, service was good. It's a relatively small space, so noise can be semi loud just because of the size. You can definitely come with a group, or on a date, and still have a conversation without yelling at each other :)
We had a reservation at 8:00, but had to wait until 8:50 to be seated.
As always, fantastic food.
Excellent for 20 years
