Food and service (Arti was our waiter) were excellent as usual -- no wonder this is one of our favorite places! Among the four of us we had the chowder, oysters, seafood sampler, salad (about the best Caesar salad I ever had), and our main meals, (Duck breast absolutely delicious for a restaurant known for seafood) and room for desserts! (The Carrot Cake Special should be on the regular Dessert menu!) We "licked our plates clean!" With their menu and specials you will have a hard time choosing what to have.

Absolutely the best place for a casual and delicious dinner. The shrimp and grits with tasso ham is outstanding! The wine and beer selection is well thought out.

I just love the new and improved Max-A-Mia: the entrance, the ambiance, the surroundings, the menu, the high top tables, the service, everything! My FAVORITE Entree is the Branzino Filet!!! It is so delicious and the salad that accompanies the filet is perfect! I have gotten this entree the last 3 times that I have dined at Max-A-Mia. IF you have not tried this entree, I highly recommend it to you!

Our server was AMAZING, very informative, courteous, thoughtful and polite! Our food was delicious and perfect size portions! The waffle with cinnamon apples and ice cream for dessert... yum! We had a wonderful experience!

My friend and I were looking for a place with Taco Tuesday specials and outdoor seating since it was such a beautiful day, and we were not disappointed! We ordered the Bang Bang Shrimp, Carne Asada, and Veggie tacos—two of each so we could split and try everything. All three were delicious, and it was hard to pick a favorite! My friend had the Spicy Paloma and really enjoyed it. I started with a Classic Margarita with a salt rim. I have to admit, my first margarita was just so-so, and they were pretty stingy with the salt. But the second margarita more than made up for it—it was fantastic! We’ll definitely be back for Taco Tuesday. And yes, we’ll even happily sit at that little slanted table outside again!
