The Bread Room is a Philadelphia bakery, workshop, and event space created by James Beard Award–winning restaurateur Ellen Yin and High Street Hospitality Group.Led by Head Chef Christina McKeough and Head Baker Kyle Wood, this artisan bakery produces more than 20 fresh, handmade pastries, viennoiseries, and baked goods daily. The Bread Room is known for its signature breads, including a house-milled local grain miche (sold by the pound) and a rotating lineup of whole grain sourdough loaves from High Street.In the evenings, the bakery transforms into a warm workshop and private event space, offering baking classes like sourdough 101, lamination, and pizza making—a favorite inspired by sister concept High Street.
