We have changed up the menu since re-opening this fall [2023] . We are catering more now to our wonderful neighborhood, and neighbors. So be prepared for a totally different menu than the old "579". That vibe and style of the old "579" can still be experienced at our sister restaurant, Chardonnay in Seekonk, just 12 minutes down the road.

It was a great experience. The staff is very friendly and polite. The service was great. Most of the food was great, mashed potatoes are okay. I would definitely go again and get the sweet potato fries instead of the mashed potato they were outstanding.

Less than adequate defines the food, not special or even particularly tasty. The pasta dish had water present, not drained properly. A bigger surprise was the skin left on the chicken dish. The service provider was chatty but slow, and other servers were too loud, talking across rooms to each other. Secondary kitchen servers actually “dropped” the plates or bowls onto the table, not placing - seems clear that no one receives training there. The hostess was dressed extremely casually suitable for a picnic not hostessing. Open table asked seating preference, we requested standard dining. We were directed to the pool table lounge at a high top with high chairs, we asked to move, and the hostess informed “that was the area the servers were staffing at this time.”’ (wrong response) Meanwhile, in the dining room, a larger party was seated before us. within my sight there were at least four or five large screen TVs with news, several with lottery games, one that looked like an arcade game. I never thought it was a sports bar. The shrimp cocktail was four big (but not jumbo) shrimp in a way too-large crushed ice bowl. Chicken was butchered with knife cuts by the kitchen to test for doneness. Server at a different table noted “up charges” to prices; not a term to be using with customers. We took desserts home and both cheesecakes were burned (charred!?) on top (and yet they still packed then to go.) I tossed out. Since it was restaurant week we thought to try this place and we will NOT be back. Thumbs down. We are aware that the proprietor has another restaurant which we had been to years back, and have not returned there either, not realizing until this evening that they were related restaurants.

Pam I am very sorry for the, much less than good service and food you received at "579" on Saturday Aug 1st. I will be working with my staff to correct and improve all you mentioned. Yes it is a bit of a sports bar and we purposely torch, with sugar, the top of the cheesecake, FYI, next time ask for it to not be "Bruleed" [I just added that disclosure to the cheesecake description]. I would be happy to offer you a credit of $59.90 [your bill on Saturday, I believe] on another visit, if you would like to give us another try. Stuffed must Grooms great chicken broccoli with olive oil was like soup not tasty at all. Disappointed I know the owner prides himself in serving great food. Off night

They had a fun menu with a great selection, and the service was amazing. However, they fell a little short on the entrées — I ordered a grilled cheese pull pork sandwich, which turned out to be a regular pulled pork sandwich with just one slice of cheese. That said, their fish tacos were absolutely delicious. We will definitely be back to try more of the menu!

Great experience! The fig prosciutto balsamic arugula pizza was AMAZING. Salads were generous and added grilled chicken was moist and tasty. Our waitress was terrific and her runners were pleasant and clearing frequently. Will definitely be back again soon!

Went with friends for happy hour. All the apps were excellent, especially the stuffies. Chowder was very tasty and one person had chicken francaise on linguine and said it was delicious. Our waitress Ashley was very attentive and conscientious. Definitely going back agin.
