   I’m giving them the benefit of the doubt because it was a Sunday for brunch and the day of the flying pig, but we had reservations at 11:45 and were not sat until 20 minutes after that while we watched other groups get sat before us who did not have reservations. The hostess was extremely sweet and communicated very well about the situation. However once we got to our table it took almost 30 minutes to get our drinks and then about an extra hour to get our food. Once again we watched tables who sat down after us with them same amount of people get their food before us. I’ve been a server so I know this stuff happens but it could’ve been a little more organized. The food was very good once we got it so I would recommend not going on a busy morning if you don’t want to wait for a while.

   It took a half an hour to get initial service and an hour for breakfast. There were just two of us.

   We went to celebrate my mom’s 60th birthday. The restaurant was very clean and nice. The vibe was unmatched! Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. The food was a 10/10 SO GOOD! I had the veggie omelet, potatoes and pancakes everything was on point! I would definitely recommend this restaurant and will be returning soon

   The food and ambience were excellent. Service was good, although not outstanding. The restaurant is in a nice location and being able to walk around outside was nice. The restaurant is in an old bank. The bathrooms were downstairs. Unfortunately, the bathroom was flooded, and there was a pipe dripping from the ceiling. As there were no warning signs, I presumed that the manager was unaware. I spent 20 minutes trying to do a good deed connecting with the manager to inform them of the issue and this was rather challenging as nobody seemed to care.  I do plan to give them a second chance.

   The whole environment is top notch from walking into the restaurant with a beautiful layout to the host who starts out the enjoyable experience. our food and drinks were superb. I love how the owner engages and recognizes returning patrons and addresses issues that customers may have which appear to be miniscule. Just an amazing restaurant with superb food. What I love about the food and drinks are the consistency of presentation, taste and textures. It's food that has a home soulful feel, but with a nice clean favorable taste. If I could, I would give a higher rating of ten out ten stars.

   Waited over an hour and a half for food and ended up having to take it to go waiter only came to the table once and we had no type of compensation

   We waited about an hour for our food, and it was well worth the wait. The service staff was sure to tell us that the kitchen was running behind, and kept our glasses full while we waited. I would have waited another hour for food this good! I’m not sure anyone’s shrimp and grits compare to theirs! Give their staff love and gratitude! They are nailing it!

   We arrived at 10am with a reservation. Our food arrived at 11am. We loved the food. However the people in the restaurant waiting for food ( and there were plenty ) had to watch all the door dash orders being first priority while visiting customers had to wait. Poorly run. The wait staff takes the brunt plus no table turnovers so wait staff can’t be getting many tips Why on earth do you do DoorDash orders on your busiest customer in house day? Doesn’t make sense. Your in house customers should come first. Not fair to wait an hour for food but watched so many DoorDash orders go out the door.

    We had a 10 AM reservation and we were not seated until 10:35. The waitress was great and so nice and did everything she could to give us a good experience. Although she put our food order in when she took our drink order the kitchen was so backed up that it took over an hour for our food to arrive at our table. It was very good food and everyone enjoyed what they got, but the wait was very long. Luckily we were having breakfast with old friends we had not seen in quite some time so the time didn’t feel like it dragged. I would say Uber eats definitely impacts that restaurant’s ability to do a timely business within the restaurant. Our waitress told us they were fully staffed but that the kitchen was running 45 min behind. So normally you wait 15 min for breakfast food but we def waited an hour. I would not go back just because they don’t manage time wisely there.
