We had an amazing time at Agate Alley. We chose it based on reviews on Open Table and we were not disappointed. I also chose it because of the diversity of the menu - smaller plates, larger plates, great sandwiches and yummy looking pizza - it has something for everyone. The service was fantastic and just right, with just enough service to make us feel taken care of but not too much that we felt overwhelmed by it. They made great suggestions about food and beer. All of us really enjoyed our meals. While we don't live in Eugene and won't go there often, Agate Alley will be our go-to restaurant when we head to Eugene to visit family.

The day it snowed in Eugene I thought it would be hard to find a place to dine. Agate Alley Bistro was able to accommodate me and my party with no problem. Our server was very friendly and helpful. Despite the restaurant being full, the food came out in a timely manner and was very delicious! I definitely recommend coming here!

Agate Alley's two locations, the Bistro and The Laboratory, are my favorite places to meet up with friends after work for a drink and good food. And they also are my favorites for family dinners out or business lunches. I love the menu, and the wait staff is wonderful. Nobody makes a better Bourbon Renewal. The best!

We had a reservation for six but eventually had almost twice that many for dinner. They were so nice about it. They put us outside. They food came quickly. They kept track of separate checks. We were happy and impressed.

We had an out of town guest that we took to different restaurants during their stay, to get a feel for Eugene. This was our choice on a Friday night and it did not disappoint. Our party had a variety of dinner items from beet salad to the steak special. All were great and service was friendly and efficient. The place was busy, but noise level was low enough you could have an easy conversation over wine and dinner. We recommend as a nice place to have a casual meal in a comfortable surrounding.

AAB is really a neighborhood with excellent unique food at neighborhood prices. Very good house wine choices. And of course you can't beat the local Eugene brewed beer.

We made dinner reservations online for 6pm, but were seated in the bar which was quite noisy. Our out-of-town guests popped into the seats, so I was reticent to make a stink and ask to be seated in the dining area. Maybe the restaurant has a policy to not seat in the dining room until the bar is full???? By the time we left, the dining room was filling up. It would have been a much nicer place to visit with our guests. I asked for the check and we headed elsewhere for dessert. Maybe better for lunch rather than dinner.

We know Agate Alley well, so came here for Mothers Day brunch. Food was good as always, staff was pleasant, and also very apologetic for how busy they were. But, they were overwhelmed with Mothers Day. Come here some other time and enjoy a wonderful meal.

We were seated on time. The server took a while to greet us, but it was Mother's Day and the place was packed. The food came out to us in a timely manner, was attractive and hot. We were not rushed. I thought the tables were a bit crowded together and there was not much privacy. But overall...we will come back and try it again. Thank you
