El Compa is bringing the heat (and the salsita) for a Mother’s Day brunch she won’t forget. We’re talking: Waffles dipped in chocolate (yes, we’re spoiling her sweet tooth) Chilaquiles verdes just like abuela used to make Huevos rancheros with that "damn, that’s good" factor And yes cochinita, barbacoa, pickled onions, and all the glory in between Bring your mom, your tía, or the señora who raised you right. Being born and raised in Mexico, it’s great to find a place that feels so close to home. The asada tacos and frijoles are outstanding. Would also recommend the jalapeño margarita and hibiscus mezcal. Finding “pasta” ice cream was a very nice surprise too. Overall would recommend and I’ll definitely be back.

First time here and food and service were good but the noise level is off the charts and made it very difficult to have a conversation. Appreciated the high level of attention to the customer on a busy evening.

Wonderful Mexican food from a great team. Delicious margarita and unobtrusive but attentive service. It’s a great if different successor to the late lamented Aleph.
