Allan Grammar is a Small Wine Bar situated In Woodriff Street Laneway in the heart of Penrith. A love child of ours, two locals with the vision to change the way we eat and drink in Penrith.

We centred our business around a small wine list which focuses on smaller producers, and their efforts to create beautifully crafted wines for the community around them and that abroad.
In this same manner, we aim to bring forward a venue for the area which has been just as beautifully crafted.

Above all we wish to present to Penrith our love for its wild westie ways. Our space desires to be nowhere else except here among its locals.
We hope you’ll join us for an after work drink, meals with friends, a late night snack or Vinos with the girls.

Impressive drinks menu with a delicious food menu to match. It’s hard to not try everything. The lamb belly sambo and steak were our top picks. We will definitely be back. My only negative was that the tables are quite small for a couple we did have to play Tetris a number of times to get things to fit on our table and we couldn’t both sit comfortably at a corner table.

This wine bar is beautiful! All the food was amazing except the steak, which was grisly and had a lot of fat, this was disappointing.

Lovely place for a date night. Service was friendly and very attentive. Food was tasty and great selection of wine. Amazing cocktails.

We loved the food, the cocktails and the service. The quality of everything cannot be beaten! A visual and taste delight in every mouthful.

Q: When is a restaurant not a restaurant? A: When it's a bar! If you or any of your party are under 18 years you cannot enter here - ergo it is NOT a restaurant, but a bar. Q: Well why the F*CK can you book this "restaurant" through "opentable" then?????????? Dining is clearly not the target market - who knows what is? Perhaps this is why it will remain empty.

The staff at Allan Grammar are rightly proud of the food and wine that they serve and their elegant premises. They clearly know their stuff and are genuinely keen for you to get pleasure from your visit.

Run by owners and staff that are truly passionate about food and wine and it definitely reflects in their service. A very special experience for locals and tourists alike.

We had an amazing time. Food was lovely and the wine even better. Service was friendly and attentive and the atmosphere on point. Allan Grammer is the place Penrith has definitely has been missing.
