A six-step tasting menu celebrating the very best of Baja California: fresh Pacific seafood, endemic vegetables, and local ingredients elevated through open-fire cooking, natural fermentations, and techniques that honor origin while enhancing flavor.

Es preferible llegar antes del sunset para verlo dentro del restaurante. La cazuela con cangrejo y tortilla de harina definitivamente fue mi favorito, no necesitaría nada más que eso, fue excelente. La atención fue impecable! 100% recomendado.

Amapola was fantastic, the food was amazing and the service was fitting for such a restaurant. We dined at two other highly rated and well known Valle restaurants during our trip, and Amapola was our favorite.

En Amapola no servimos pollo ni short ribs o guacamole el comentario de Gabriela está totalmente fuera de lugar; tampoco tenemos servicio de pan. Tratamos de comunicarnos al respecto con Open Table sin éxito, simplemente nos ignoraron. We do not serve chicken, shot ribs or bread service, we tried contacting Open Table and were simply ignored. Amapola’s menú is a six course dinner from thursday to saturday, cheers.

An unforgettable experience at Amapola. From the moment we sat down, everything felt incredibly intentional and intimate. The chef’s table concept makes it feel personal, almost like being invited into someone’s home, but elevated to the highest level. Each course was beautifully executed, with fresh, local ingredients and flavors that were both refined and comforting at the same time. You can truly feel the passion and precision behind every dish. What stood out the most was how immersive the experience is — watching the chefs prepare each course and explain the inspiration behind it made the dinner even more special. If you’re looking for a true culinary experience in Valle de Guadalupe, Amapola is absolutely worth it. Thoughtful, elegant, and unforgettable.

La mejor comida y experiencia en el valle de Guadalupe. Todos los platos de degustación MUY buenos y originales. Cada plato con una historia del lugar y de los chefs . Felicidades!!

We had a fantastic experience from start to finish. The food was absolutely wonderful - fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome. We would highly recommend this place and would happily return.

Comida riquisima (pedimos pollo, short ribs, costillas y guacamole con pork belly). Habia muchas moscas que no dejaban comer agusto y tuvimos que pedir un abanico de mesa que creo deberian llevarlos en cuanto lleven los alimentos si saben que pasa eso. Servicio en comida un poco lento (pedimos pan y lo llevaron ya que habian terminado el platillo por lo que lo cancelamos). Las porciones estan muy bien servidas y el trago que yo pedi muy rico aunque son de los tragos que ponen el hielo grande y ocupa casi todo el vaso.
