   Amazonia Speakeasy – Tucked away in what looks like a regular house, Amazonia Speakeasy is definitely a hidden gem—so hidden, in fact, we almost missed it! Thankfully, we jumped on the waitlist via OpenTable before heading over. Upon arrival, we were told there would be a 30-minute wait, but it ended up being closer to 50. Not ideal, but we squeezed into the bar to pass the time with a drink. Drinks: 10/10 for creativity The cocktails were a highlight. I ordered Heads Will Roll, which was one of the most unique drinks I’ve had—Chinese five spice infused Remy Martin 1738, Old Forester Bourbon, Grand Marnier, mamey sapote, sage, blackberry, lemon, and blackstrap bitters, garnished with a smoked sage sprig. It was complex, aromatic, and definitely fit the moody speakeasy vibe. Food: Mixed experience We ordered the burrata pizza, which came with olive oil, fresh garlic, burrata, prosciutto, balsamic, and pepper flakes. It sounded amazing but was served on the cooler side, which took away from the experience. The chicken tinga tostadas with avocado and roasted red pepper aioli were also a bit of a letdown—not bad, just not what we were expecting. They were served cold, which caught us off guard. Now we know that’s intentional, but we probably wouldn’t order them again. Atmosphere & Service: The ambiance was the real star. The upstairs had a creative “moon” and “sun” themed seating area, adding to the fun, mysterious vibe. The speakeasy feel definitely helped smooth over some of the bumps in service. Our waitress didn’t check in much, and service overall felt a bit indifferent. Overall: Amazonia Speakeasy is worth visiting for the atmosphere and drinks alone. While the food and service were just okay, the ambiance and creativity behind the cocktails made it a fun and memorable night.

   Important to know ahead of time that it is 2 levels without an elevator.. we made a reservation for my daughter's birthday and we had to carry my elderly mother up the stairs to dine.. would have been nice to been accommodated when we arrived, or better yet, warned ahead of time..

   Loved it!! The vibe and atmosphere were amazing! Cocktails were top tier. 10/10 highly recommend and can’t wait to go back!

   The cocktail menu is sophisticated and the drinks are delicious, they are worthy alone of a visit. The pizza is exceptional. The chicken tinga tostadas needs some work. The service was very good. The biggest issue my party encountered was the fire alarm going off multiple times during our visit. It was very loud and distracting, the restaurant apologized but made no offer of a complimentary drink or dessert to make up for the repeated interruptions.

   Our waiter was fantastic, super attentive, friendly and took great care of us. It was my bf birthday and they brought a free cake in beautifully decorated flowers and fruit and chocolate out for him. Great atmosphere! The sliders were our favorite menu item.

   I really loved the space. Mysterious, eclectic, & exotic. The service was great. Our drinks were great. The food was good, but I would go back for the drinks, space, and service over anything else. It was mid to high 60’s and rainy out, and it was freezing in the space. Almost uncomfortably cold. Many of the guests upstairs were putting their coats on and commenting on how cold it was.

   We had a great experience at Amazonia! Our drinks, guacamole, pistachio pizza, and blackberry gelato were all delicious. We were seated on the first floor which had an awesome ambience. Definitely the perfect spot for dinner and drinks!

   Pizza was a little cold. Caprese salad was small and not enough basil. Drinks beautiful but expensive. We were seated upstairs which was bright, airy and not at all the vibe of the restaurant. Seems like we were delegated to the old person zone. There are better options in Lakewood.

    Although they have a smaller food menu, this place is great with what they make. An adorable spot great for dates or meeting friends. The staff was fantastic. Will absolutely come again.
