Amelia's is a rustic Mexican restaurant. This is the kind of restaurant guests should go to if they want authentic, no-nonsense Mexican cuisine. These plates are hearty and piled high with fresh, natural ingredients. One of the most popular places at Amelia's is of course, the bar. Thirsty guests can try one of the fantastic margaritas in both regular and large sizes, or taste some of the sangria that is made fresh each day.Amelia's menu is bursting with traditional Mexican dishes. While the restaurant itself is open breakfast, lunch and dinner, dinner service is by far the most popular. Amelia's has a whole section of the menu dedicated to "famous moles" which are sauces made with chocolate. It's not as sweet as it sounds and imparts an incredibly unique flavor to the dish. Amelia's also has dedicated vegetarian and vegan options.

Delicious food, generous portions. Tasty guacamole and margaritas. Definitely recommend.

The food was amazing!! The server—not so much. She was pretty rude during the whole meal, which was upsetting. Also, we went in at 7 and by 7:30 they started deep cleaning the main dining area so we had to smell cleaners during our meal. It didn’t close until 9 so it was odd that they would be cleaning so early, especially with diners still trying to enjoy their meal. However, the food was amazing so I do plan on eating there again. I might try the other location.

They did not know that I booked online. When I went to show that said they did not need to see. They seemed putoff that I was only one diner. Once past the entrance seemed like it was okay. Food was good.

Excellent food and good specials! Interesting mix of Mayan influenced dishes and what people consider traditional Mexican food. Servers were lovely, worked hard, but were understaffed for the amount of customers. I plan on returning several times and I hope they get additional servers!

Waited forever for our check only to find out it was never created and I needed to go to cashier to pay. WIt staff only checked with us once after meal served. maybe not enough servers..

Came to Amelia's because it was recommended by a friend. Went to location near the Hillsboro airport. Food was good "comfort" mexican food. I had shredded beef enchiladas. I would go back to try other items on menu but I think I'd try the downtown Hillsboro location to see if it has more "atmosphere".
