Wasn’t like we remembered it. Some of the menu items had changed which was to be expected with the season but the existing options lacked the appeal and excitement that was present in many of the former dishes. The food was just fine/ok. The service was exceptional just like we remembered it. Consistency is hard.

I ordered three appetizers as my meal. I informed the waitstaff that the pea salad was too salty. The crispy potatoes weren't crispy and had the skins on them. The lamb was well-cooked but too spicy. This was our third trip to Animae, and it might have been our last based on the food we were served.

I’ve been many times and never disappointed. The food portions are great, with variety of options and good price point. Very great place for date night. Romantic with elegance, style and class.

food was spectacular, very interesting and bold flavor combinations pulled off with perfection. the pork tomahawk sauce is worth every lick of the plate. the taiwanese chicken is another delicious symphony of flavors, each layer a new surprise. the service might even be better than the food, server alex was spitting facts and dropping wisdom like class was in session. leo was amazingly helpful as well!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Animae was a 10/10 experience! We came with a party of 11 and were absolutely blown away. From the moment we pulled up (valet is $20) to the last bite of dessert, everything was exceptional. The ambiance is stunning — chic, modern, and full of energy. Service was flawless — shoutout to Andre and Madeline for taking such great care of our large group without missing a beat. They were friendly, attentive, and knew the menu inside and out. We tried almost everything and there wasn’t a single miss. Top cocktail? Hands down the 2ta Mango — bright, balanced, and dangerously drinkable. Midnight in Manila and Artemis were also good, but Mango stole the show. Favorites on the table: •Humana lamb chops — perfectly cooked, rich and flavorful. •Yellowtail crudo — light and refreshing. •Tuna kinilaw — packed with flavor and a subtle kick. •Coal roasted cabbage — YES, cabbage… an unexpected favorite with incredible depth. •Chicken Adobong Puti and the Pork Tomahawk Tocino — absolute highlights. If you’re choosing mains, these are musts. For dessert, we tried them all (no regrets). The chocolate cremeux and the Turon tart were the standouts — rich, indulgent, and beautifully presented. If you have to skip one, the sakura panna cotta didn’t quite hit the mark for us. Every dish was plated beautifully — this place knows how to wow on presentation and flavor. Can’t wait to go back. A truly memorable night.

Came for the A5 Wagyu and stayed for the music and superb service! The portions were larger than I expected, the leftovers were delicious cold and reminiscent of the cool ambiance and experience that was exquisite. The night was a gift for my boyfriend’s birthday, and Tessa and the rest of the staff made sure we were taken care of well. Make sure to save room for desserts! 🩷 i’m not sure if we were just particularly lucky the night that we went but the playlist for music was a lot of of the best 1990s rap music, and the fact that it was unedited was refreshing, and my favorite. we don’t drink, but the nonalcoholic options, specifically the malarkey, and the Boba, were top-notch as well and should not be missed. Find dining is not cheap, but this place is worth every penny. Both local and out-of-town foodies check this place out.

Our server McKenzie was stellar and as a world traveler, she’s definitely top 3. She knew the menu very well, very attentive, kind, and made our evening so pleasantly memorable. This restaurant had the service logistics that surpasses many other restaurants. From the host, to servers, back waiters (excellent support to servers, courteous, knowledgeable and attentive), and checkout. The restaurant decor was swank with swagger. Would definitely dine here again.

Animae is a delight and I 100% recommend eating here. However, I think the 5 star mind blown reviews are overrated. I'm giving my 5 star for the overall experience. First, all the reviews that state that their server was super helpful are confusing to me. Our server, Mackenzie, offered nothing. I had to ask her what her recommendations were and we had already established we'd never been there before. Our food ranged from the mind blown (Taiwanese chicken, tuna kinilaw, coal roasted cabbage) to great (pork tomahawk, wontons) to good (chicken adobong) and just meh (wagyu fried rice, gimmari). Mackenzie suggested the kinilaw, which was a total win, but the adobong lacked flavor. The starters were so amazing that the bar was set too high, and everything else was really good, but just not at the same level. So, 5 stars because I can't blame the place for flying too close to the sun with the starters. Also, she did recommend the cabbage, which I was already committed to from reading reviews, and yes. It is that crazy good. Cabbage. Also try the ube coconut drink, it's excellent, the Fuji Fog is okay. All in all an excellent experience in a beautiful restaurant, but I'm good and wouldn't necessarily go out of my way to go back.
