   We had a reservation for 6PM and arrived early. The restaurant wasn't crowded at all, there was no hostess, and we were told to seat ourselves. We sat and had to wait for about 10 minutes before a server came over and then we had to wait for her to come back and get our drink orders. We had to wait what seemed like another 10 minutes for her to come back and take our food orders. The parmesan chicken was dry and flavorless. The wings did not taste like the flavors they were supposed to be. When we placed another drink order it was almost 20 minutes before we received them and by that time we had the manager at our table to share our experience. Our server was not very attentive and lacked personality. Our meal was comped and the manager was apologetic. Highly disappointed in this experience. We ended up going to another venue for a much better experience.

   I went to Bar Louie with my husband on Saturday April 12th. We made a reservation online as we weren’t sure how busy they would be. When we got there, the place was essentially empty other than a few people sitting at the bar and a few people sitting at tables. We went to the podium, where we stood and waited. No one greeted us or said, “we’ll be right with you” until a waitress/bartender (I’m guessing?) entered through the front door behind us (guessing to start her shift) and said.. “oh you can sit wherever you’d like.” So we chose a table right near the bar, clearly visible to staff behind the bar. We sat there for 10-15 minutes.. no one acknowledged or greeted us, so we left. I am patient, and expect to wait if an establishment is busy. But this place was no where near busy, and we didn’t even get greeted. Would not go back or recommend this place to anyone.

   Waiter was very nice. Food was good. Drinks were a little watered down. Overall it was ok.

   The only reason we chose to eat here was for the valentines day special that was advertised. We got there at 9:00 and were seated quickly. We were sat at the raggedy booth. We were told that they were out of steak and salmon, the only 2 entree options in the special, and we couldn’t substitute the entrees (even for a cheaper option). The food was cold and took a while to come out, the plate was hotter than the food.

   Upon our arrival for our reservation. We were greeted at the door by the hostess stating they were out of steak, salmon, shrimp and chicken. Terribly disappointing for a Valentines dinner. Won’t ever go back and won’t ever recommend.

   There's plenty on the menu to please everyone. We were a party of 5 and our server was terrific. We're definitely coming back

   We reserved a booth online, we were planning to order drinks, dinner, and stay for the NYE party. When we walked in, we told the host we were early (6 minutes early) and had reserved a booth.There was a booth available. It just needed to be cleared. I pointed that out to her and We told her we would wait for it. She then suggested we sit at a high top next to the door . I told her we didn’t want to sit at a high top, especially next to the door where it’s cold. That we had reserved a booth, and she then proceeded to lead us to a different high top . We sat down hoping the experience would get better. It was busy, but we ordered drinks and an appetizer (cheese curds) The appetizer took a long time to come out. We saw a different server bring it out and auction it to four different tables around us. We werent able to get her attention that it was ours. By the time it got out to us It was cold. We had waited 30+ minutes for it. Because nobody knew where to bring it. As locals, we know competition in Myrtle Beach is fierce when it comes to restaurants we just feel the customer service at bar. Luis was lacking. We ended up not risking ordering food and left.

   We had an 8pm reservation for standard seating. We arrived a few minutes early to ensure there was ample time for us to be seated. Hostess tried to put us in a booth that would not be comfortable for 4 grown men and 2 ladies. Then moved us to a high top table which I stated I really didn’t want and she said that was all she had. Although the restaurant was empty. Food was fine, however the service was so terrible that it almost ruined the meal. Drinks were ordered sat at the bar for a full 15 minutes before I walked up and asked for them from the bar. Cranberry and tonic and Shirley temple were never brought out and had to be asked for again. No silverware, napkins or app plates were given and all had to be requested twice. Then we were told at 9:30 that we needed to finish up because there was another party coming in at 10 that would need our table. So we didn’t order dessert or coffee like we planned to and instead had to stop at McDonald’s for dessert on our way home. Totally ruined the experience and the night in general. On a $300+ meal I was disgusted that on New Year’s Eve we would be told to hurry it up. It was the slowest worst service on earth and then we were rushed out because of it. I don’t think I’d come back to this restaurant, just for that alone. Bad business and super bad overall experience due to restaurants lack of service and ultimately manners.

   Went to Bar Louie’s New Year’s eve to eat and get a couple of drinks around 8:20. Had a reservation and got seated right away. Our server (Aubrey) got my wife waters while I parked the car. once I showed up she came back and was very helpful with the menu and drinks. Food was good and served quickly from the kitchen. Aubrey was excellent, especially when this was a busy night with. a lot of people. Can’t say enough good things about our server, Aubrey. So go to Bar Louie’s, have a drink or two, get some food and enjoy.

    Extremely quiet night on a Wednesday in December! Food was excellent! This was our first time and we honestly tried it due to the points being offered at the time. We will definitely be back. Service could have been a bit more attentive.
