Since 1982, Bon Chinn's Crab House has been delighting guests with a friendly atmosphere and delicious seafood. Serving the freshest seafood from around the globe, this father/daughter-owned establishment is located on Milwaukee Avenue in Wheeling.Bob Chinn's specializes in seafood, most of which is delivered daily, but it is also well-known for quality wet-aged prime steaks and wide variety of fresh dishes. Guests can choose from pasta, appetizers, lobster, surf and turf, crab pots, shrimp, prime rib, oysters, scallops and more. The catch of the day is posted near the front of the establishment so guests can see exactly what seafood is on the menu.Bob Chinn's Crab House is open seven days a week and can accommodate parties upon request.

We use to go here a bunch. The food was fabulous. We decided to try this place again after being disappointed the last time we were here. Unfortunately, the food was overpriced, and not good . We booked on open table and listed we were there celebrating an anniversary. Our anniversary was not even acknowledged with a " Happy Anniversary ". My husband ordered the Himatchi and it was 8 small thin pieces soaked in a sauce. The sauce obviously had some kind of vinegar base which caused the pieces to break down. He was hardly able to pick them up with chop sticks. They became mealy. I ordered the stuffed basa with a hollandaise sauce . It had a mustard taste. Don't know too many places that put mustard in their hollandaise sauce. Needless to say it was not a do again. So sad because it use to be good. The garlic rolls though, are good.

We had not been to Bob Chinn's in a few years due to too much road construction, we were worried that it would not be as good as we remembered. It did not disappoint ! It was a good as we remembered!!!! Our server, Julie P , was great. The soft shell crabs were delicious as was all the other entrees our group of 6 ordered. Top off your meal with the coconut cake, it was so light and fluffy!

Our waiter was very efficient and friendly! And the lemon drop martini that I had was the best one that I have tasted anywhhere! The garlic rolls and their dinners are very good as well.

JD was a great server! Food was great! The only thing is, I think there's very little alcohol in the Mai Tai's I had 4 and I wasn't even buzzed?

Repeat customer of Bob Chinn's due to high quality seafood and top-notch service. Mario was our server and he has consistently been excellent. I highly recommend the blue crab claws in garlic (sometimes need to ask if they have them), the Hawaiian Onaga (redfish which used to be more of a staple and just showed up again after not being available for over two years), shrimp vermicelli (they make a crab option as well), the Copper River Salmon (seasonal). The garlic rolls are usually always solid; ask for extra garlic and oil and drench them in. Stop in the bar and get great service from Brianna as well. The mai-tai's are delicious as well!

As always Garlic rolls-Outstanding I couldn’t decide what to order. So many options. I finally ordered shrimp + two sides. Portion was Great. But, I had 3 bad shrimp, so I did not finish. That was surprising. It was Loud. Large groups of people. Etc
