    I’ve been to quite a few Buca’s over the years, and they are always great. That said, the evening we visited this location there was something wrong with their liquor license, so my wife and I could not order alcohol with our meal. Also, the food was not the best I’ve had-still good (we ate almost all of it), but a little dry and light on sauce.

    We went to the Original location in Downtown Mpls. To celebrate our son's High school Graduation. We brought our family 10 strong and was able to sit at the Pope's table. Everything was great until we ordered and were proceeded to be informed that the staple menu item that was what made Bucca famous was no longer on the menu! Garlic Mash Potatoes! How in the world can mashing some potatoes become to expensive to keep on the menu. They used to have a garlic festival in minneapolis, and bucca would serve their gsrlic mash and it was the highlight of the festival. We were also informed that they didn't offer sardines for ceasar salad anymore either. Well as nice as the staff was and apologetic, it truly is an end of a chapter of my life with food! When a private equity company takes over a piece of italian cuisine in America, should we be suprised. I will never go to bucca again unless they put Garlic Mash Potatoes back on the menu! I'm sorry to be so harsh but bucca without garlic mash potatoes, is like a peanut butter and jelly sandwhich without the peanut butter!

    Best family dinner! Awesome waitress, host, manager… they were all great! Food was fantastic! We’ll definitely be going back!

    Great selection of food items that were delicious but our waitress/server (Edy) was what made the experience extra special!!!!! She was wonderful & very personable & knowledgeable about our order!
