   Don't delay! You must add this on your "to visit" list. You won't be disappointed. The food was amazing and our service equally as good. Our server Etta was fantastic. It was the perfect brunch and I can't wait to take more friends there soon. Thank you Bureau de Poste for a beautiful visit

   The best part was the food. Amazing. But it was far too noisy. If the restaurant had something to soften the acoustics / ambient noise, it would have been perfect. After a table of six people were seated right next to us, I had a hard time hearing my dinner companion for the rest of the night. Voices and conversations seemed to literally bounce off the walls and even hurt my ears at times. And the restaurant was far too cold. I was glad I had taken a jacket but it only helped a little bit because I was too cold the entire night. If the weather had been more cooperative, I think I would have enjoyed sitting outside a lot more.

   The food was great, but the kitchen speed left a lot to be desired. We waited more than a half hour for our food, and they were not particularly busy. Then once our food came, everyone in our party received their meal except for one person. We waited another 10 minutes for that person to receive their food. Everyone else at the table waited for awhile for the last person to get their food. Then, we finally started to eat so everyone else’s food was not cold. No one really acknowledged the inconvenience. It was a real disappointment to an otherwise nice meal.

   Great design and very good food, but service isn’t at the same level. The staff is very nice and enthusiastic, but they need some guidance on pinging customers too often plus never clearing the table. After being served we didn’t see our server for a long time… Dessert was so delayed, they comped it…again servers need some guidance on getting above the more basic level of service.

   This was a mixed experience. Our table inside was against an interior wall that may have been shared with either an HVAC air handler, or the vent hood system for the kitchen as there was a fairly distracting low frequency vibration and mechanical hum during the duration of the meal. There is a large motor out of balance somewhere behind this wall. Service was friendly, but slow and inconsistent. One to two other interior tables were occupied, and three to four outside tables were occupied at this time. FOH staff overall needs more training and experience. Lillet blanc was kool-aid level of sweet. Onion soup was excellent. Endive salad very nice. BDP moules et frites was delicious and well priced, but the fries were undercooked and lifeless. Poisson a la plancha halibut was well cooked, but parsnip puree may not have been salted at all. For the portion this would be better at a $29-31 price point. Yes, halibut is on the pricier side these days, but this was a very petite cut of fish. Creme brulee was the best in Austin since Chez Nous closed down. Chocolate mousse has great flavor, but was extremely dense with no lightness at all to the texture. Clafoutis flavor was nice, but arrived at the table extremely overbaked, to the point that a spoon was unable to carve out a bite. We did not send it back as the check was dropped immediately with that final dessert. For $200 total bill all in, this was a meal of highs and lows. Part of me wants to try again because of the items that were very nicely done, but I'm not sure the inconsistencies in the service and other items makes it worth our dining dollars.

   I love the relaxed feel of this place – like a comfortable dining room in a friends home. I definitely would return to try more dishes.

   For a French bistro, the baguette was disappointing, as well as the ratatouille. This is a dish I've eaten countless time here and abroad, and make myself, and this was one of the worst versions I've ever had.

   The food is truly French, which is quite unique in Austin. It is simple, yet very tasty. Our waitress was outstanding. Fast, responsive and friendly.

    Our first visit. We were there on a Wednesday night. Exceptional service. Food was good and flavorful, but on the bland side for our taste. Not a criticism, but personal preference. The scallop carpaccio was a pleasant surprise. The halibut literally melted in our mouths. The mussels were outstanding, perfectly seasoned. Yes, we'll return
