On arrival, we were seated promptly to our table but the server advised us that there was no brow bread or panini bread. Given that the menu is very limited, the bulk of which is sandwiches, this seemed very limiting. The remaining choices were three salads or soup. The cafe is not what it used to be! The food offered involves very little cooking -just an assembly of ingredients. Add in a lot of hard surfaces and and the whole experience is a noisy town caff! Nothing remains of the special experience from years gone by. The Bianchi team should have a good think about this area of their business.

Excellent care and attention by the server particularly. She couldn’t have been more obliging. Food was well prepared and presented. Good size portions on a warm plate.

We have eaten lunch a number of times at the Caffe, but this was the first time for Sunday Lunch. The portions were a fair size and the quality was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch, although we had no room for dessert. The cakes looked delicious, so we will have to try tea another time. The service very good.
