   Great food. Seafood pasta and tonkatsu are our go-to's. Tried the vongole today and it was also great!

   Everything was absolutely amazing, from the ambiance to the food to the drinks. We went to Carino on our anniversary and loved everything we had there. We’ll definitely be back!

   Soo amazing!!! Limited cocktail menu but had lots of wine and sake options. Food is actually to die for.

   Food was incredible. From the appetizer dumplings (I preferred the chicken, my friends the vegetable) to our meals. The bolognease with wagyu and truffle oil is perhaps one of the best meals I have ever tasted. And the katsu curry with pasta was, according to my friend, at least on par. Tastes perfectly balanced and absolutely irresistible. Our server was a young man whose name unfortunately escapes me, but he was attentive, considerate, and friendly--giving us an excellent primer on the food and recommendations. He went through the wines with one of my friends for the perfect one, while offering me a complimentary brew of a smokey black tea. The decor was a enjoyable little dollop on top, with the stylized Italian landmarks against the Japanese rising sun designs. Sole complaint is that at peak hours, it was just unduly noisy due to the rather small floor space, and we sat at the back. The slightest smudge on a perfect meal. Will absolutely be back.

   I thought it would be more of a date night vibe but it was full of people in loungelesuire (frumpy sweatpants, Sunday hoodies, lulu lemon all black top bottoms) and was loud. Not the good kind of loud ayou would expect ant a trendy spot, more babies crying and kitchen utensils Klinking. I would suggest this is a place for couples with kids that want to dine somewhere different than moxies, earls, or wherever that demo normally occupies.

   This was our second visit to Carino, and it’s safe to say it definitely won’t be our last. It has already secured a spot as one of our absolute favourite restaurants. This time, we started with the Ahi Tuna Carpaccio, which was beautifully prepared—fresh, delicate, and full of flavour. A perfect start to our dinner. 10/10 For the main course, I went for the Pan-Seared Scallops. They were cooked to absolute perfection, with a beautifully caramelised crust on the outside and a tender, melt-in-your-mouth centre. They were simply divine. The scallops were served on a bed of creamy risotto, which complemented the dish wonderfully. 10/10 My partner opted for the Lamb Lamb!! Lamb!!!, the lamb was incredibly tender, packed with flavour, and cooked to absolute perfection. Definitely a standout dish. 10/10 The service was warm and attentive, and the atmosphere was just as inviting as it was the first time. — We’re already looking forward to our next visit.

   The food is so creative - tried their vegan pasta & it was to the point. Also tried their Nepalese momos with arrabita sauce - so creative again!!! The sauce was awesome & chicken momos were to the point. Won't order veg momos though. Do try their desserts too; the sesame tiramisu was sharp & unique

    The staff always makes our meals feel special. We've been going to Carino for about a year and we'll be coming back every time we are able too. Truly creative and unique food with some of the most complex, complete and stunning flavours I've ever had. Our favorite Calgary restaurant, truly the best of the best
