   I truly wanted to love the place after discovering their butcher shop was literally down the street. We had a waiter in training, which was fine, and he was assisted by one of the owners, the sister. She was warm and inviting. The food, at least my meal was disappointing. I ordered the Chicken Saltimbocca and the sauce literally destroyed the dish. I had to push it off. It was clear and coagulated and had zero taste. My green beans were cold to the touch. Although the chicken was good and the linguine had flavor a bad sauce can kill a dish. It was supposed to be a sherry wine sauce with prosciutto. Very disappointing. My friend had the shrimp scampi and said it was fine but not worth coming back for. Sorry I really wanted to love the place. If, and that's a big if, I come back will try either the pork or beef, but please make the sauce right or don't add it.

   Thank you so much to all at CB’s Chop House - we were from out of town visiting my sister and she recommended CB’s Chop House and thank goodness she did. Service was top notch, food was superb, pricing was reasonable. They even had our favorite wines! Thank you so much from 5 Georgia Crackers!

   We went to CB’s Chop House last night for the first time. Other than the first 5 minutes when we didn’t have a waitress, everything was excellent! The owner, Mike, came over to our table once he noticed we hadn’t been greeted, and he apologized and took care of the situation. After that, we had great service! The food was very good too. I had the halibut special and my husband had the NY Strip and baked potato. Both dishes were excellent, and the steak was done just as he ordered. Overall, it was a very nice experience, easy to get to (just off of 141 and Centurion) and we will definitely be back! Mike went out of his way to make sure we had a great ex, and we did!

   My steak was superior to those other over-priced and over-hyped premium steak house chains and they don't nickel and dime you for items that every meal should include. I fed four people prime steaks for less than the price of two at the other place.

   Emma was our server, she was great. I had the sword fish special and it was wonderful. I suggest you put it on the menu permanently. They have an excellent bourbon list at reasonable prices. We will definitely be back.

   Lovely experience and delighted to find this gem. Food was very good - not 5 star but very good for the price. The atmosphere is very casual which I happen to appreciate. We arrived about 25 minutes early for our reservation so we decided to start with a cocktail at the bar. Enjoyed a bourbon on the rocks from their barrel select. It was delightful! Bartender was friendly and staff as well. They seem to enjoy where they work and we’re very eager to share information about their favorite menu items. We got to meet the owner, Molly. She was very personable and pleasant to speak with. We got the shrimp Diablo and the stuffed mushrooms. Both very good but could have been a bit hotter. I got the filet with bourbon cream sauce. Loved it! Steak was cooked perfectly. Bourbon cream sauce was on the sweet side, which I liked. My husband did not like the sweetness. He got the Parmesan encrusted pork chop. Very tasty! Never have ordered a pork chop out before. Pleasantly surprised. I loved that the entrees came with a salad, veggie and a starch. Seems most steak houses are all a la carte these days. The fries were amazing - hot and crispy. The baked potato was good and even better with some of their homemade ranch on it. I thought the prices were very reasonable for what we got. I will definitely go back. I think the bottom line is expectations - if you are looking for a fancy experience this is not the place. If you want a good meal for a fair price and feel “at home” - then you will love this place. Oh, and I really appreciated that there was enough space between tables that I could enjoy and nice conversation with our friends. We will be going back - and look forward to trying the lunch menu.

    The only reason to go here is if you need a casual atmosphere. For the same price, you can get better atmosphere and food at many other steak houses in town. The service was outstanding, though.
