   The entire night was a sequence of wrong drinks, wrong side dishes, etc. We wasted a perfectly good Mother’s Day at a restaurant that clearly doesn’t need our business.

   First time there. Ambience was lovely, The food and drinks were outstanding and had many creative dishes. (The best fried green tomatoes on Hilton Head) Service was attentive and timely. We will be definitely returning to this establishment!

   TAILS - YOU LOSE. Everything was going great until my Jambalaya was served with shrimp tails on. These were ideal for a cocktail appetizer, but I have to dissect them in order to eat. Hot dish with tails on shrimp - what a mess. The Manager stopped by and I shared my comments and he only offered "I'll tell the Chef. No empathy or customer service from the Manager, such as "is there anything we can do to make this right." The shrimp with tails were unevenly cooked and this was a very poor presentation. My wife was pleased with her entre and I was on a great experience until this dish and the Managers comments were not up to the mark,

   Hubby and I had a terrific meal at Celeste Coastal Cuisine on Hilton Head Island! We each had a Sazerac cocktail (yum!) and started with the chargrilled oysters topped with butter pecorino and parmesan (delicious!). For mains, my husband chose the blackened red fish with crab étouffée over grits. He loved it. The fish was a generous portion and cooked perfectly - just the right amount of blackened seasoning and moist inside. He said the étouffée was excellent. I had the short ribs for my main. They were fork tender and extremely flavorful. They were served with grilled asparagus spears and gouda grits (wow! they paired with the meat wonderfully!). Their menu is quite extensive - everything looked delicious. Staff were genuinely courteous and cheerful. We did choose outdoor seating which was not the best option - we were next to the parking lot in front of the restaurant. If you want more ambiance, then stick to indoor seating. It was fairly quiet (except for someone's car alarm going off!) but still I wouldn't choose outside again. Otherwise, it was a near perfect meal. Definitely will be returning!

   Elegant restaurant with superior food and service. Restaurant owner also owns Ela’s and The Pearl. We keep coming back.

    We love this restaurant! The food is amazing as well as the service! Deidra is an awesome server, great personality! The crabcake on top of a fried green tomato is unbelievable as well as the mussels. I have never seen mussels that large and meaty. This will be a frequently visited restaurant for us! Great flavor profiles!!
