This is an excellent location in Hilton Head for communing with friends and dining out. A colleague in Charlotte recommended it and we were glad they did. The food was wonderful (you gotta try the blackened catfish); our server Ayanna was as well. The evening ended on a much higher note than when it began--we had a very nice stroll on the grounds before heading for the hotel. An important Customer Service note: My OpenTable reservation for (2) at a table upstairs was unfulfilled. When we arrived they were short-staffed and unable to seat us upstairs--a beautiful space if you can get it. Someone should have reviewed the reservation list and notified me. They offered us a little table in the corner in the back by the bathrooms. When I told the manager that my anniversary plans were failing, she made arrangements for a better table. Once that was addressed, it was a worthwhile dining experience. Ma Daisy's Porch has been open for just over a year; I pray the CS kinks are worked out before we get back--and we will be back for our bottle of their fruit wine.

Go to Chef B’s if you want a low country meal in a great venue with wonderful service. This may be the best service in all of the low country which only elevates the experience and the food.

Our family LOVES this place! Chef B is amazing. Her staff is patient and very helpful. The food is fresh and delicious. We will be back again.

Overall experience was excellent, but service was a little slow in that there was only one server. She was very pleasant, but could have used assistance.

I heard about Chef Bs by Facebook and decided to give it a try for my birthday,we ordered seafood, rum potatoes and collard greens, I took one bite and pushed my plate to the side , this was one of the worst meals I've ever eaten, the atmosphere wasn't bad , although the waiter was sweeping the floor while we sat ,the waiter came out with food all over his clothing, I will never visit this establishment again, we drove in from Augusta ga and had waited all day to eat , we left Chef Bs feeling hungry and disappointed

It was a full 15 minutes to have a waitress stop by the table for drink orders and another 25 minutes for one of our drinks to arrive at the table. My wife ordered the Blacken Catfish which she said was quite tasty. Our companion ordered the Fried Clams which were uninspiring. I ordered the Crab Fries which arrived cold with a light coating of crab flavored bread crumbs on top.

We drove from Savannah to experience MaDaisy's Porch! My husband and I were so excited to visit the restaurant and experience the culture. We made reservations for the upstairs dining room but were told when we arrived that there was a large party upstairs. We are easy-going people, so we were okay with being seated downstairs. Because so much happened and didn't happen, I'll summarize the experience: Pros: Hot food, piping hot Beautiful scenery Relaxing ambiance Cons: Misprinted menus Warm drinks- water and lemonade Bartender was using a straw to pipe out samples of the drinks (He NEVER put his mouth on the drink or straw but used a straw pinched between his fingers to draw out samples of each drink to taste Rubbery waffles that lacked flavor (My husband had the buttermilk waffle, and I had the sweet potato waffle.) Both terrible. The sweet potato waffle was a weird pink color but had no sweet potato flavor at all. Bland chicken - no seasoning or flavor Drinks never refilled Bourbon yams -just sweet and mushy but no flavor Cranberry muffin - from Da Bakery was the best tasting bite all day until I bit into the muffin and pulled out long hairs Again, we eagerly anticipated the experience as advertised. However, we were met with disappointment after disappointment. We are not picky eaters nor harsh food critics, but I would not confidently return here. I hope someone will read this review and make the necessary changes before this place goes under.

The overall experience was not as expected. The bartender, Fabio was great and our server, Garvin, while slow was really terrific. Garvin basically gave us a “tour” of the menu, the beginnings of the restaurant, and general information . Really a nice man. Food, cannot rate it well. 3 of us selected 2 orders of fried chicken. Menu stated 3 thighs and 3 legs. 2 thighs and 4 legs delivered. The chicken was cooked well. One order of rib eye steak, served in a metal tray, similar to cafeteria style but no plate, just food on the tray. Another ordered jambalaya, too much rice. Sides were etable, but we left most.
