Booked on the recommendation of a friend for myself and 2 friends to have a catch up. We were the first guests to arrive however by the time we left the restaurant was full. Great place, food delicious with fabulous service. Water overpriced which was the only criticism. Overall wonderful experience and we have booked to return.

Sunday lunch 5 course lunch was a good mix of tastes. Some quite rich but tasty. Roast beef was so tender. Would definitely go back to try the mid week tasting menu. Nice ambience and relaxed. Staff informative and professional . Good for a special occasion

My first visit a couple of years ago was with family on a Saturday night and was wonderfully memorable, this time the occasion was Sunday lunch with friends (& my little sister) and again a fantastic experience from start to finish. The food was all delicious and my only disappointment was that I was starting to get full towards the end and couldn’t quite finish my last course but wow what flavours. We went for wine pairing too which I highly recommend. We were warmly welcomed on arrival and had attentive, not in your face, friendly service throughout. Overall a relaxing and very enjoyable experience. We loved the playlist in the background, and that it wasn’t too loud so we could enjoy our conversation whilst still enjoying and commenting on the tracks. Since leaving we've already discussed the food and overall experience on how much we enjoyed it a few times and what we considered excellent value lunch, that includes the wine pairing too. We would definitely return on our next visit to Leeds. The only downside is the staircase to climb on arrival but it’s most definitely worth it! If you’ve been thinking about trying Chef Jono’s then I’d suggest you go for it.

That’s is a best Sunday roast twist what you can have, every singel dish is delicious, what’s more you can expect. Highly recommended

Stunning Sunday lunch. Food was amazing, service was great, an absolutely perfect afternoon. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Enjoyed it, would recommend, and will be watching out future menus. Pros: Interesting & tasty dishes, liked the combination of flavours - especially some Japanese influence. Excellent service. Small but lively place. Minor cons: Music was just a little bit loud. Probably halve the loaf size. Without knowing how much food was going to come I couldn't risk filling up on malt loaf. ☺

Staff,ambience,music,food,wine, all perfect. Can’t wait to return,always good to see a restaurant with the named chef,Jono in this case,on the pass and mucking in with all things that happen in a kitchen.

Really enjoyed our sitting at V&V, the tasting menu is impressive - with some dishes properly “blow away”. Wine pairing is a must, good and thoughtful range of pairings - brilliantly matched.

Just as always. A first class meal that just dances on the palette. The staff are super attentive without being intrusive which is a hard task to get right. With Chef Jono leading the pass and his super talented team in the kitchen. There is a lot that can go wrong. Also shout out to the cracking playlist in the background when we were there!!
