   It was nice - food was good Service was good until the person helping us finished his shift —after quite a wait we had to ask someone walking by for the check and after getting it took a while to pay. That was the not so great prt of the evening - everything else was good

   The creativity with “everyday” Mexican is fabulous. One taste sensation after another. And the service was perfect, attentive, knowledgeable & happy. Thank you

   Birthday celebration for a friend. We sat in the patio area. The servers were nice and friendly. The food was delicious and plentiful. The restaurant was very crowded yet we could still enjoy our conversation. We never felt rushed so had a relaxing time. Doesn’t get any better than that!!

   Always love this place. Food is excellent and the ambiance is festive without being too loud. After dinner we went out the patio for som impromptu salsa dancing too!

   We made reservations at 6pm and had a 7:30 performance at Zellerbach. We told our server and he let the kitchen know. The restaurant was full of people going to the event so it was busy. We ordered 3 appetizers and one entree to share. One of us is vegetarian, so she ordered the soup. We had the chips and guacamole and it was terrific as was the cesar salad. The main dish, grilled ribs, was outstanding. Perfectly cooked with a side of rice, beans, asparagus, and tortillas. The vegetarian loved the rice, beans and tortillas. The ribs were tender, perfectly cooked and delish. Service was efficient and on point. Thanks so much for a lovely evening.

    We had an early dinner before our Berkeley Rep show. Our meal of salad, tamales and quesadilla was delicious and plentiful! We had leftovers to hoot! Our fave was the tequila flight and the mezcal flight! DELISH! TY!
