   Thank you so much for hosting our family of 16 for Mother’s Day. This is the third year we have returned. (plus multiple visits in between.). As always, the customer service is amazing. Your staff are delightful, catering to patrons of all (our) ages. We love coming here for the food, kind service and ambiance. Thank you!

   First time ever… More than a pizza place… ambience was very inviting, looked authentic Italy. Service was excellent prices were fair. Food was delicious! We will be back

   From start to finish this was a great experience. Our table had the calamari as an appetizer and enjoyed it. The complementary bread and flavored evoo was delicious. Had an incredible pizza and two of us had pasta dishes. All superb!

   It was the first Monday in May…this is the date of the NYC met gala televised on THE E Station JUSTIN the manager is fabulous … he put this on one of the two screens above the bar. I got to watch read the captions of the MET GALA have the special $10 pizza …have a great salad and then a treat of dessert YUMM gelatos pistachio and salted cinnamon. What a deeeelish Eye candy nite

   Restaurant interior is great with an old Italy feel. Food was delicious - pastas, calamari,yum! Only disappointment was the Caesar salad could use more dressing, some garlic and fresh ground black pepper. Great ingredients but lacking in flavor. Really great service. The server and management were knowledgeable and attentive. It’s. Surprisingly loud for a small space which makes it feel alive but maybe not great if you can’t hear that well. Highly recommend the Fruti de mar and Spaghetti carbonara.

   We had wonderful service from a very busy waitress. Our tiramisu was the best I have ever had.

   My wife and I went on a Sunday night. Either they were not expecting so many diners or a server was out sick. There was just one server for about ten tables and while he worked very hard, we felt neglected at times. Nothing wrong with the kitchen, however. The food was very good overall, though price. The salami and cheese board had a great selection of meats but scarcely any cheese, though there were lots of garnishes that my wife loved. The sea bass and chicken romano were top notch as well. We would have ordered dessert but it took the server 15 minutes to return to our table and by then, we had lost our momentum. One comment about the ambience. It seemed to us that the interior of the restaurant has changed little, if at all, since Disotto replaced the missed Gabriel some two decades ago. The brick walls make it feel like a cavern and contribute to the high noise levels, even when the restaurant is half empty.

   We love Disotto, but today (Easter Sunday) was not their day. I had called to confirm brunch menu but our waiter told us no brunch menu only Easter menu. We then walked back to host stand and hostess said no we’re doing full brunch. Then waiter told us no that was not right and there were only 3 items from the brunch menu. We ordered, and when it came out 2 of the 3 were missing their potatoes, and the 3rd was missing its toast. Was very disappointing.

    The food was really good. The service was barely adequate. The noise level was way too high. I don’t think I can eat there again. It was just simply too hard to hear the person next to you.
